How we built a crowdsourcing platform for revolutionizing the skateboard industry.

Bombdecks is a startup that aims to revolutionize the skateboarding industry by taking it back to the days when art and free expression reigned supreme. Fuze was asked to build the brand from the ground up, which included a blend of creative and technical execution that spanned all facets of digital.

The Challenge

Fuze was contracted to execute a brand identity project, followed by the development of a community-driven ecommerce website that allows designers to submit artwork that is voted on by skaters and sold in an online store. The result was a powerful digital presence that gained immediate attention from artists and skaters around the globe.

Bombdecks came to Fuze with a loose concept, and asked us to turn it into a viable business plan. We collaborated with stakeholders and industry insiders to map out an appropriate set of deliverables, a timeline and pre and post-launch strategies geared to push the brand immediately into the limelight.
