Mood University

Helping a fashion industry icon launch an online learning platform for sewing & design enthusiasts.

Mood University is an educational platform for fashion design and DIY sewing enthusiasts. For several years Mood Fabrics has provided offline classes in its New York and Los Angeles store locations, but will soon allow people around the world to participate via online video classes taught by expert instructors.

The challenge

Fuze worked with Mood to plan, design and develop an innovative instructional platform that uses video to teach fashion enthusiasts how to sew.

The site allows teachers to promote online video lessons, and earn commission for products sold on their class pages.

Mood U is powered by a multi-store Magento backend that allows Mood’s main online store (moodfabrics.com) and Mood University to share a product catalog and shopping cart.

Mood Fabrics

Helping a fashion industry giant drive online sales.

For over one year, Fuze has helped Mood Fabrics optimize its online store to drive more sales and provide a streamlined user experience for its customers. Assignments have included developing custom features, improving website performance and consulting on complex technical integrations.

The Client

Mood Fabrics is the largest and best-known fashion fabric retailer in the world. Its New York City location serves over 1,200 customers a day, and plays host to the hit Bravo television series Project Runway, where contestants visit the Mood store to select fabrics for design competitions judged by celebrity fashion icons Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn.

Screen Media Films

Rio I Love You

Building a socially-driven mobile application that creates conversation and community to promote the movie, Rio I Love You.

Rio, I Love You  is the third episode of the “Cities of Love” franchise from NYC’s Screen Media Films.  FUZE was asked to develop a mobile application  for the movie that echoes the films objectives of bridging gaps between cultures and celebrating universal expressions of love.

Website redesign for New York City’s leader in specialized transportation services and commercial crane rentals.

In dire need of a website makeover, Bay Crane asked FUZE to design and develop a custom responsive website to help take their brand to the next level.

Bay Crane challenged us with creating a custom website that would be equally user-friendly for their users, and internal administration staff.

To ensure optimal front-end user experience, FUZE started the project with a set of UX wireframes to outline unique page layouts and desired functionality.

For back-end site admin, a custom Content Management System was built to client specifications to ensure content updates can be made quickly and easily.
